Loki – Loki is the ruler of the Forest of the Lost, Misty Woods. Loki is the instigator who tricked Valhalla’s gods into waging war. Before Valhalla was destroyed, Loki escaped to this world and remains here still. Featured in Misty Woods are mainly fairy tales, with the occasional sacred beast.
Loki’s cards feature an erratic group of resonators that rely on awakening effects. If one can manage to control this wild bunch, they will be met with great success. There are also many draw effects included, perhaps a quantity over quality strategy might be best?
Arthur – Arthur resides in the Knight’s Castle in the Sky, Skyround. In Skyround there are machines and androids, as well as mechanized knights. The massive control system governing Sky Round is called “Merlin”.
Many cards that place [+100/+100] counters are used, as well as many effects that benefit from having these counters. There are also effects that reward you for dismantling these [+100/+100] counters, but be wary not to dismantle too much or your resonators may fall apart.
Join us, as the curtain rises on a new era of Force of Will. This time we return to Valhalla, a world familiar to some of our long-time players.
We’ve been listening to the voices of our precious players! A good portion of our playerbase has been requesting that we balance the power level between rulers more, a driving force in our design for this cluster. And so, for the entirety of New Valhalla, rulers will be independant from the booster packs. The set will instead start with 10 rulers from the five starter decks, of which players will use to battle with for the year to come.
These new 10 rulers will have unique cards called “Runes”. The power level of new runes released in furthur sets will be strictly adjusted based on the performance and usage frequency of the 10 rulers at high-level events. We hope to create a balanced game for the year to come, allowing players to focus solely on enjoying the game.
• Two different Rulers (Foil), 40 card main deck (10 sets of 4, of which 8 cards are foil), 10 unique rune cards, and 16 magic stones. Total of 68 cards. The main decks will be made up of 40 resonator cards, that can be used as a teaching tool for two players!
• Each deck is playable as is, but is also able to be split into two “half decks” for playing with a friend. Perfect entry level starter decks.
• Also includes a playsheet, rulesheet, and game manual.
