Hanzo – Hanzo is the leader of the Village of the Spirited Away, Kouga. Kouga is similar to a traditional Japanese village, different in that it’s home to cat ninjas and youkai alike. The phrase “Spirited Away” is a phenomenon where a person disappears and is thought to have been hidden by the gods. In a similar manner, Kouga village is hidden from the world and is only enterable through a hole that appears at a special time.
Many of Hanzo’s cards feature the cat ninjas’ special techniques and tools. In general, Hanzo is a good balanced ruler who is a jack of all trades but a master of none. Playing him will be a test of the player’s own skill.
Chamimi – Chamimi is from the Forgotten Sanctuary, Lost Isles, home to fairies, beasts, and the Mimi tribe. The Mimi tribe are capable of speech but carry a odd speech inflection where each phrase they say ends in “Mi~” and other similar phrases. The islands of the Lost Isles are abundant with unexplored nature and are full of rare never before seen beasts.
Join us, as the curtain rises on a new era of Force of Will. This time we return to Valhalla, a world familiar to some of our long-time players.
We’ve been listening to the voices of our precious players! A good portion of our playerbase has been requesting that we balance the power level between rulers more, a driving force in our design for this cluster. And so, for the entirety of New Valhalla, rulers will be independant from the booster packs. The set will instead start with 10 rulers from the five starter decks, of which players will use to battle with for the year to come.
These new 10 rulers will have unique cards called “Runes”. The power level of new runes released in furthur sets will be strictly adjusted based on the performance and usage frequency of the 10 rulers at high-level events. We hope to create a balanced game for the year to come, allowing players to focus solely on enjoying the game.
• Two different Rulers (Foil), 40 card main deck (10 sets of 4, of which 8 cards are foil), 10 unique rune cards, and 16 magic stones. Total of 68 cards. The main decks will be made up of 40 resonator cards, that can be used as a teaching tool for two players!
• Each deck is playable as is, but is also able to be split into two “half decks” for playing with a friend. Perfect entry level starter decks.
• Also includes a playsheet, rulesheet, and game manual.
